‘Prayer for the Innocent’ was the first single released from 'LIFE & LOVE' in July 2021 and was accompanied a lyric video, created by my son Rhiff.
Ironically, I actually wrote these words years ago (when he was a baby) while I watched him sleeping, absorbed in how absolutely perfect, pure and as yet unaffected by the world he was.
I found myself almost praying for his protection, overcome by the feeling of how unjust it would be for the innocent ones, like him, to pay for the sins of their fathers or the mistakes of others who came before them.
This one is particularly special for me.
