Instinct (Don’t Argue With An Echo)

When you can’t see the forest for the trees Your inner compass is for times like these When doors are locked, you hold the keys You can sail along in your own breeze So listen up, if you please It’s gonna make you feel right at ease Instinct is for a reason What you feel is what you know (What you know is what you feel and what you feel is what you know) Don’t fight it, it’s on your side Don’t argue with an echo. You’ll wake one day and find you’ve gone the wrong way It comes as no surprise, ‘cos you already knew Time and time again inside a feeling warning you That message you’ve been getting was for no-one else but you So listen up, if you please It’s gonna make you feel right at ease Instinct is for a reason What you feel is what you know (What you know is what you feel and what you feel is what you know) Don’t fight it, it’s on your side Don’t argue with an echo.

There’s just no way you’ll have last say when you argue with an echo Take my advice and first think twice - don’t argue with an echo. When instinct tries to tell you something over and over and over again Open your eyes and ears and know your instinct is your only friend… Don’t argue with an echo.
